Quick verdict
The AW2725Q gives you the sharp 27-inch 4K 240Hz QD-OLED experience for less than the ASUS and MSI versions. PC Monitors found performance similar across the three and judged the Alienware the better value, and TechRadar praised its HDR in dark scenes and very sharp 166 ppi image. Dell's 3-year Advanced Exchange Service covers burn-in.
You give up DisplayPort 2.1 and a USB-C video input with charging. TechRadar also noted limited full-screen brightness, a slightly warm color balance, and a purplish tint in bright ambient light.
